Alta Vista purchases a new school building to relocate the high school in 2013! "Alta Vista Charter School Thrives Amid Looming Crisis" by Eric Adler of The Kansas City Star Kansas City Chiefs spent the day working with the AV Middle School and High School PE Classes. The Baseball Tomorrow Fund and the Kansas City Royals awarded a $5,000 grant to the Alta Vista baseball program. Alta Vista High School was awarded a $25,000 grant from the William G. McGowan Charitable Fund, Inc. to continue their efforts to improve student literacy. Kansas City Chiefs spent the day working with the AV Middle School and High School PE Classes.

The Baseball Tomorrow Fund and the Kansas City Royals awarded a $5,000 grant to the Alta Vista baseball program.
